Mental Health Providers in Lancashire and South Cumbria
Previously known as Lancashire Care, the Trust was established in April 2002 and authorised as a Foundation Trust on 1st December 2007. The Trust provides health and wellbeing services for a population of around 1.8 million people.
On October 1, 2019, the Trust acquired mental health and learning disabilities services in South Cumbria from Cumbria Partnership Foundation Trust and became Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCft).
The services provided include community nursing, health visiting and a range of therapy services including physiotherapy, podiatry and speech & language. Wellbeing services provided include smoking cessation and healthy lifestyle services. The Trust specialises in secure, inpatient and community mental health services.

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is situated on the west coast of Lancashire and operates within a regional health economy catchment area that spans Lancashire and South Cumbria, supporting a population of 1.6 million.
The Trust provides a range of acute services to the 330,000 population of the Fylde Coast health economy and the estimated 11 million visitors to the seaside town of Blackpool.
Since 1st April 2012, the Trust also provides a wide range of community health services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde, Wyre and North Lancashire.
